The Department of Personalized Learning
We are using the $19.3 million in funding from our Race to the Top – District grant (awarded winter 2012) to implement Personalized Learning in 19 schools representing 3 high schools and their feeder patterns. This grouping of schools provides a continuous, seemless, and consistent approach to teaching and learning that will benefit approximately 9,500 students. We will be scaling out our initiative to the other schools in CCSD.
Who are We?
We are a community providing highly rigorous educational experiences built on relationships and partnerships. We reflect the Superintendent’s
commitment to high expectations, highly qualified and effective teachers, and graduation for every child. We foster a student-owned and mastery-based learning environment to support independent learners who are motivated to achieve.
